Boat Description

The Schooner Lazy Jack II is a gaff rigged schooner built in Hope, Maine and launched in September 2004, by Captain Sean O'Connor. Lazy Jack II is the only schooner sailing out of Camden that was built by her owner. Her lines originate from L.F. Herreshoff's Mobjack 1935 design. Her Douglas Fir masts and mahogany houses and rails will take you back to the early 1930s. Lazy Jack II sails four trips daily during the summer from the Camden Public Landing in scenic Camden, Maine. The total vessel length is 58 feet and with spacious decks and cabin tops to sit on, your trip on Penobscot Bay will be safe and comfortable. Lazy Jack II is meticulously maintained by Captain O'Connor and is inspected and certified annually by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry 21 passengers.
