Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort 2010 Seasonals — Our season begins May 1 and ends October 24 Rates

Standard Oceanview	$3,700.00 plus tax Electricity, water, & mobile sewer included.

Rates:

Rate includes water, electricity, 2 adults and 3 children under the age of 17, and only one camping unit and vehicle per site. There is no sewer hookup at the site. We have a dump station and a mobile sewer service. Weekly rates include mobile pump-out service.

Extra person fees: Adults are $6. Children are $4. The number of persons per site may be limited.

Placing tents on RV sites will not be permitted.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is a limit of two dogs per campsite. They must be leashed and picked up after at all times, and never left unattended. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.

On standard sites, guests will receive 1 night free on a 2-week stay, 2 nights free on a 3-week stay, as reflected in the figures below. Discounted monthly rates are also noted below.

There is no discount on premium sites.

Maine’s lodging tax is 7% and is not included in the rate tables below.

*All stays surrounding a holiday require a 3-night minimum and a nonrefundable 100% deposit at time of reservation.

*PREMIUM Oceanfront Sites: There will be no discounts issued regardless of the amount of time booked. Premium site reservations for 2 weeks or more, placed between 9/1/09 and 3/31/10, will require a nonrefundable deposit of $100. All reservations under 2 weeks, placed between 9/1/09 and 3/31/10, will require a nonrefundable deposit equivalent to one night. By 4/1/10, all reservations are required to be 100% paid. This additional deposit will also be nonrefundable. Please note that whole and partial refunds will not be issued for any reason at any time. This includes shortening your reserved stay at any time after your reservation is placed.

*STANDARD Oceanview Sites: Reservations for 2 weeks or more, placed between 9/1/09 and 3/31/10, will require a nonrefundable deposit of $100. All reservations under 2 weeks, placed between 9/1/09 and 3/31/10, will require a nonrefundable deposit equivalent to one night. By 4/1/10, all campsite reservations are required to be 50% paid. Any remaining balance owed will be due at this time. In case of cancellation, the balance will be refunded, minus a handling fee equivalent to one night, as long as we are given at least 2 weeks’ notice prior to your date of arrival. All reservations placed after 4/1/10 will require a cancellation fee of one night, and a 2-week cancellation policy will be in effect.

*Personal checks are accepted for all advance deposits as long as they arrive 14 days prior to the date of arrival. At check-in, we accept Visa and Mastercard as well as traveler's checks and cash. If a reservation is placed within our 2-week cancellation period, a credit card will be required and full payment will be due. Those failing to show up on their scheduled day of arrival will be charged the full length of their reserved stay.

***A photo of the RV will be required if older than 5 years.

***Our policy is that our seasonal sites do not appear any different from our shorter-term sites. We do not authorize the building of decks or anything similar at our seasonal sites. We only allow satellite dishes, firewood, and a few potted plants outside the RV. Storage companies are nearby if you need extra capacity.

***A $350 nonrefundable deposit will be required to hold your reservation. Equal installments of $1,858 (nonrefundable) will be due on Feb. 1 and May 1, 2010. Deposits payable by check only.

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes! Eclectic, fun & cozy, Papa J's&The Lobster Bar serves some of Midcoast Maine's best seafood and fine wines. We’ve taken Southern hospitality and its famed comfort foods, and kicked it up with a splash of Maine flavor.

We're conveniently located on the same property as the Moorings, and all campers receive a 5 % discount on food. So come as you are and treat yourself right!

Travel Tips

We are located off Route 1, so if you decide to take the scenic coastal route, the park will be on the water side of the street approximately 2 miles north of the bridge in Belfast (northbound), and 4 miles south of Searsport Village (southbound). This route may take 30-90 minutes longer during the summer, depending on where you enter Route 1.

The interstate and toll booths also take longer during July and August.

The best travel days are Monday through Thursday. On Fridays there is more traffic going northbound, and on Sundays there is more traffic southbound.

For Northbound Travelers

Most of our guests enter the state via I-95, the Maine Turnpike:

• Once you go through the Portland area, we suggest you take I-295 toward Freeport, if your goal is to make the best time.
• I-295 ends, forcing you to merge onto I-95, just before Augusta.
• Take Exit #113 (Route 3) from I-95. This road leads directly into Belfast.
• Shortly after entering Belfast, watch for the large green sign near the overpass, for Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 North.
• We are located approximately 2.5 miles away in East Belfast, on the right, about 1/4 mile beyond the Comfort Inn.

If you have the luxury of time, then traveling on Route 1 is both scenic and enjoyable. We recommend that route if you have never experienced it.
